Welcome to JuiceHere.com.   This blog began because of my personal success juicing.  I starting sharing it with friends and noticed they were having similar success.  So, I decided to publish all my successfull actions in one spot so others can easily join in on the great benefits of juicing.

Here's my story.  Last December, my doctor gave me a flyer recommending “Juicing” as a way to get to better health.  I was borderline diabetic, bad cholesterol, overweight and always tired. In the middle of the day, I’d just want to sleep!  I thought, maybe I’m just older now and it’s how it’s going to be.  I was fat too.  I’ve been on most every diet out there and had success but then it happens, I gain it all back and then some.   On January 23rd, 2012, I went for it and started juicing. It’s been amazing. I feel better. I’m losing weight.  And best of all, I have so much more energy!  I am so excited about my results, I just have to share it!

I am replacing 2 to 3 meals per day with the juice we make every morning.  I’ve found replacing breakfast and dinner are the easiest because I’m working during the day and not always home to juice.  I use his recipe. Sprouts Market is a good store to buy the veggies.  I am eating apples, bananas and some raw nuts in between as I feel hungry and I’m drinking at least eight, 12 ounce glasses of water each day.   For me, the increase in energy alone keeps me juicing everyday.  Over the next few days I'll be posting the recipe, the jucier and more tips to help you acheive great success.  Have fun… John
P.S.  I’ve lost 35 pounds so far...

This is the juicer we use.
The Omega 8004.
Great machine and it
cleans up fast.  These sqeeze
juice instead of cutting.

Two friends own this
one with great results.
This one has a large
mouth. Bigger pieces
of fruit or veggies go in.

Some info from my Doctor that changed my life...

He suggested I watch a documentary called Fat, sick and Nearly Dead(click to rent or buy).  I had already started my juicing for a week but found this suprising educational.  The big questioan was "Why not just eat the fruit or vegetable?  Well, he estimates, when you juice you lose probably 80% of the fiber, but keep about 95% of the nutrients.  Juicing still provides a good amount of fiber and enables one to “fill up” on the more nutritious juice instead of the fiber, which while healthful has little nutritional value.  He gave me the basic recipe which you can see at "My Juice Recipe".

Many of his friends and some patients that started juicing are happy with it.  "Weight loss becomes quite easy to achieve, but more important is the often dramatic improvements in energy level, mental alertness and sense of well being".  He recommended the juicers, either the Omega 8004 or the Omega Vert 350 HD.  They “squeeze” the produce instead of slicing/cutting it.  This is thought to result in less oxidation and degradation of nutrients.  I do suggest organic produce whenever possible to decrease exposure to pesticides.  One other documentary must-see is “Fork over Knives” (click to buy or rent). It is an entertaining presentation of how a whole foods plant-based diet can correct many chronic medical problems, reduce the risk of cancer and decrease or eliminate the need for prescription medications.  He warned "Patients with diabetes or on certain medications, for example warfin, need to know that they must discuss any major change in the diet with their doctor, AND adjusting medications must always be done in conjunction with the prescribing doctor(s)".

From what I've read and learned so far.  It's probably impossible to eat and chew enough and the nutrients out of them during any meal.  But, with juicing you're getting all the nutrients in one 16 to 20 ounce glass.  It has really surprised me because it works so well.   It actually tastes pretty good too.
